Earlier this afternoon, the BPFD was activated as a mutual aid brush truck to Westhampton Beach FD

5-2-31 and 5-2-8 quickly responded. BPFD assisted WHBFD along with fire departments and EMS across Suffolk and Nassau county, Suffolk PD and Sheriffs, NYS Troopers, Southhampton PD and the U.S. Air Force. All members in attendance were able to control and extinguish the fire completely.
